For traditionalists, lovers of natural fibres, or people prioritising safety, nothing beats jute bondage rope. Strong and long lasting, jute has an earthy scent and rough, stimulating fibres that provide extra sensation and slowly and teasingly dragged across the skin. Traditionally twisted and coreless, this jute rope is less likely to slip than nylon or silk ropes, meaning your knots stay in place as you tie up your partner, and the rope also doesn't compress, keeping them safer during longer, more intense sessions.
Jute rope will soften and smooth the more you use it as it absorbs natural oils from your and your partner's bodies, but we do recommend uncoiling it and gently running it through your hands to check for and remove anything that may have caught in the rope that could scratch your partner's skin. You should also keep a pair of safety sheers within easy reach for emergencies and ensure your rope bottom knows where they are at the start of any scene.
This 50' full rope can be used as is for complex ties and full body harnesses, or cut into shorter lengths that suit your purposes.
Light some candles, find that sensual playlist, and wrap your partner in supportive bonds while they float away into the tranquil world of subspace. Just remember the slow untie is as essential a part of the experience as the tying up - or what you do while they're tied up!
Note: as a natural fibre, the strength of jute rope degrades over time and as such it has no load rating and we cannot recommend it for suspension work. Shibari and kinbaku practitioners who use jute for suspension use multiple lengths for safety, but unless you're trained in the artform, we recommend sticking to load rated synthetic ropes for suspension.
